FAQ is a student-led club exploring French, Canada, and global ideas through discussions, media, and interviews.
My name is William Couper.
I’m interested in world history, persuasive debate, public speaking, and the way language shapes how we think and lead.
We don’t study French, Canada, or Québec in isolation. We study the connections between them to understand ideas, identity, and power.
FAQ was created to bring bilingual learning, real conversations, and clear themes together in a way that makes those connections meaningful and usable.
FAQ sessions are built from conversations with real people. Interviews, clips, and primary material form the core, so ideas come from lived experience rather than summaries.
FAQ doesn’t treat France, Québec, and Canada as separate topics. Sessions are organized around how language, history, and politics connect, so ideas make sense together.
Bilingualism at FAQ isn’t about translation or switching. between languages. It’s employed to think more precisely, argue more clearly, and understand multiple perspectives.
Edutainment organized by theme and level, building context, curiosity, and understanding.
Monthly sessions where posts and interviews turn into discussion, debate, and interactive activities like trivia and Jeopardy.
Check out posts extending each theme through interviews, reflections, and current issues.
